Jase Takes On...

I'm pleased (and somewhat shy) to announce that I have an honest-to-goodness boyfriend. Friday I popped the question -- about being exclusive in our dating lives, that is -- and he said yes. More specifically he kissed me in a langorous fashion, then informed me that his affectionate action doubled as a yes. I did my best to create a romantic mood, with candlelight, a red rose and suitable music in the background. Then we went out for a lovely dinner at Players. It was a very good evening!

Saturday we went to Harborfest to see the Tall Ships, which wasn't as exciting as I'd though it would be, but it was an excuse to get outside in the sun. We spent the rest of the day together, and he ended up staying overnight. Despite the warmth (air conditioning only goes so far when two warm bodies share a bed!) it was great to have him close to me another night.


I look forward to our next date, which will likely be a mid-week dinner.
